Huber Heights Animal Hospital

Lunch 2015 014

Please join us in Congratulating the Huber Heights Animal Hospital for being selected as the March 2015 Business of the Month. The Huber Heights Animal Hospital LLC was founded by Dr. R. Gordon Perkins on November 2, 1959. Being an agricultural community Dr. Perkins served primarily large and some small animals in the area. The practice soon evolved to a small animal practice as Huber Heights grew. In 1964 a standalone hospital was constructed and is still in operation today. Huber Heights’ first veterinary clinic. The Huber Heights Animal Hospital is now owned by Dr. Kirk Perkins, the son of Dr. Gordon Perkins. Dr. Kirk Perkins grew up in Huber Heights and graduated from Wayne High School in 1976. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ohio State University in 1983. The hospital employs four veterinarians, Drs. Hinde, Studebaker, Tuer and Bashe. They are supported by a dedicated staff of thirteen whose goal is to treat each pet as though they are their own. They provide medical, dental and surgical services for dogs, cats, pocket pets and an occasional injured wild animal. The Huber Heights Animal Hospital gives back to the community by caring for the Huber Heights Police K-9 unit, SISCA, Humane Society, 4-H, Phoebe Fund, and Furry Friends. They are supporters of the Senior Community Dinner, BSA,Girl Scouts, Huber Heights YMCA, and many local youth sports teams. They have been a member of the Chamber of Commerce since its founding in 1981.

The Huber Heights Animal Hospital is located at 7200 Brandt Pike. Their Hours are M-F 8 am to 6 pm and Saturday 8:30 am to Noon. You can call them at  937 233-2612. Stop in and congratulate Dr. Perkins and the Staff !!
